The Red Sox are poised to bring back 31-year-old righty reliever Hansel Robles for 2022, The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal reports. Robles appeared in 27 games for Boston last year after being traded from the Twins, and put up a 133 ERA+ and a 1.36 WHIP to finish out the regular season. He also pitched 8 1/3 innings across the Wild Card Game, ALDS and ALCS before Boston bowed out to the Astros.
The club has not yet confirmed the deal.
