Texas A&M baseball conference tournament opener delayed

Texas A&M baseball continues hot streak

The Texas A&M baseball team clinched the SEC West regular season championship when they won two out of three against the Ole Miss Rebels. Their regular season performance earned them a first round bye in the Southeastern conference tournament, and when the Florida Gators beat the South Carolina Gamecocks 2-1 in the first round on Tuesday, it set up the Aggies matchup with the Gators in the second round.

The matchup was originally scheduled to take place Wednesday evening, but with inclement weather rolling through Hoover, Alabama, the site of the tournament, the game was delayed to Thursday morning at 9:30 am CT.

Micah Dallas is the likely starting pitcher for the Aggies as  he was scheduled to be the A&M starting pitcher for the original Wednesday night slot.
