The Aggies baseball team had an incredible season, winning the SEC west regular season championship, and making a trip to the SEC tournament semifinals, where they lost to the Florida Gators.
With the semi-final loss, the Jim Schlossnagle and the fightin Texas Aggies baseball team turned their attention to the NCAA tournament. It was an almost certainty that the Aggies would be hosting a regional, but there was some uncertainty regarding exactly where their tournament seeding would fall.
On Monday, the NCAA released the tournament bracket, and the Aggies received the #5 overall seeding in the tournament.
The College Station Regional will feature the following teams:
Texas A&M
TCU
Louisiana
Oral Roberts
The Regionals will take place the weekend of June 3rd through June 6th.
