Texas and Texas A&M will finally get to play a meaningful baseball game.
The Longhorns and Aggies each dropped their opening game of the College World Series, forcing the two programs into an elimination game on Sunday. This will mark the first matchup between the two programs in Omaha.
Notre Dame handed No. 9 Texas a 7-3 loss, while Oklahoma took care of business against No. 5 Texas A&M with a 13-8 win.
The elimination game is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT on Sunday and will be televised on ESPN. Before the Longhorns officially lost game one to the Fighting Irish, fans were already on the edge of their seat anticipating the rivalry matchup between Texas and Texas A&M.
