Clemson scored another former Michigan baseball commit on Sunday. 2023 outfielder/left-handed pitcher Dillon Head announced his decision to commit to the Tigers via Twitter on Sunday night.
With his commit to Clemson, Head becomes the fourth former Michigan commit to flip his commitment to the Tigers following the hiring of first-year head coach Erik Bakich.
The Homewood Flossmoor High School product out of Glenwood, Ill. joins 2022 right-hander Joe Allen (Hampton Falls, N.H.), 2022 shortstop Nolan Nawrocki (Rockville Centre, N.Y.), and 2022 third baseman/infielder/outfielder Jack Crighton (Rochester Hills, Mich.) in choosing Clemson as his new home.
In addition to the four commits following the former Michigan head coach to Clemson, two additional Wolverines in grad transfer right-hander Willie Weiss and grad transfer infielder Riley Bertram have also chosen to continue their collegiate careers under Bakich at Clemson.
