Baseball Set to Host Mississippi State for Fall Exhibition on Oct. 21


TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama baseball will host the Mississippi State Bulldogs for a fall exhibition on Friday, Oct. 21 at Sewell-Thomas Stadium, the two teams announced on Thursday.

The SEC Western Division foes are scheduled for a 6 p.m. CT first pitch at The Joe with gates opening at 4 p.m. Admission to the exhibition will cost $5 with all proceeds going to the Alabama Grand Slammers. Tickets can be purchased day-of at the Gate 3 ticket window or in advance by visiting www.GrandSlammers.org.

Concession stands will not be open for the night but those in attendance are permitted to bring their own food and beverages. There will be no clear bag policy for fans entering the ballpark.

The exhibition with State will be the first of two for the Tide during the fall. Alabama will travel south a week later on Friday, Oct. 28 to take on Auburn at Plainsman Park. First pitch between the Tide and Tigers is set for 6:30 p.m.
