TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Fall practice for Alabama baseball officially begins on Friday afternoon at Sewell-Thomas Stadium with the complete roster working out together for the first time.
The Friday session will be the first of the year for the 2022-23 group, as the Crimson Tide has been working on individual instruction to begin the semester. Alabama will take part in a practice-scrimmage split on day one at The Joe. The workout begins at 2 p.m. CT with first pitch of the intrasquad set for 3:15 p.m. Saturday’s schedule features an 11:30 a.m. start to practice followed by a 12:45 p.m. first pitch in the scrimmage.
Following Saturday’s workout, the Crimson Tide will be signing autographs on The Quad. Fans can join the team from 3:30-4 p.m. to get autographs and pick up their copy of the Tide’s 2023 Quad Card.
All scrimmages are subject to change. The length will be determined on a game-to-game basis. Spaced out between scrimmages are the team’s regularly scheduled practice sessions. Dates and times of all practices and scrimmages for the upcoming week can be found on RollTide.com each Monday.
Admission to Alabama baseball’s on-field activity is free to the public. Fans are asked to enter Sewell-Thomas Stadium through the main gate (Gate 3) located directly behind home plate. Once inside, fans are to stay in the lower bowl seating area with access to the upper levels of the stadium strictly prohibited.
