“We are so excited to welcome Adam back to Tuscaloosa,” UA head coach Patrick Murphy said. “He helped us win a lot of games as a volunteer assistant coach and we are really looking forward to seeing what he can do in the player development realm. His love of the game and Alabama softball will make him an excellent addition to our staff. Our current and future student-athletes will be the benefactors.”
This marks Arbour’s third stint with the Tide softball team, serving as a volunteer assistant from 2011-14 before returning from 2015-17. He began his softball career as a student manager at the University of Michigan under Hall of Fame head coach Carol Hutchins and later served as an assistant coach at the University of Iowa.
