Auburn is going after four-star cornerback Edwin Joseph and the Tigers made quite an impression this weekend.

He returned to Auburn for the Texas A&M game on an official visit and according to Christean Clemente of Auburn Undercover, the trip went “great.”

“The atmosphere was just different,” Joseph said. “That’s probably the best atmosphere I’ve been to. It’s like no words can explain how energetic and connected the stadium was, especially after the game where everybody was cheering. It was so loud. People left and it was still loud.”

The 6-foot, 178-pound Joseph is from Hollywood, Florida, and he could feel the difference since he visited for the LSU game.

“It was different,” Joseph said. “It just felt more connected. Everybody was more eager to win. There was more fight. Everybody fought to the last.”

He is not too worried about who Auburn will hire as its permanent head coach because he believes Zac Etheridge, his position coach, will still be on the Plains.

“It plays a little part but I don’t feel like it plays a big part,” Joseph said. “The position coach I’m going to be playing for is still going to be here. I really don’t mind what’s going on with the head coach. But it definitely does help when I meet him when he does get selected just to make sure me and him are good and I’ll know who I’ll be playing for.”
