The University of Louisville softball team will host the 2023 Grand Slam Social on January 22 in the Hickman Camp Room at the KFC Yum! Center at 11 a.m.
The program fundraiser and season kickoff event will begin two hours prior to the Cardinals’ nationally-ranked women’s basketball team’s ACC matchup against NC State which is slated to tip-off at 1 p.m.
This year’s event will serve as an opportunity for fans to meet head coach Holly Aprile and the 2023 squad as they prepare for the upcoming season.
The $25 admission fee includes a full buffet, player and coach meet-and-greet, poster, autographs, face painting and a photo booth as well as admission to UofL’s game against the Wolfpack.

What’s Included: Entry to Grand Slam Social and UofL WBB Game vs. NC State
Entry: Fans will scan their women’s basketball game ticket at the Main Street doors for entry into the arena and then check in with event staff in the lobby to gain access to the social. Tickets for the basketball game are mobile entry tickets and instructions will be emailed to you after purchasing on how to download and access your ticket.
Parking Information
Parking and other information will be emailed out to all attendees in January.
About Louisville Softball
The UofL softball team posted a 27-25 overall record in the midst of a challenging schedule that was ranked 18th in the nation and earned the No. 8 seed in the ACC Championship.
The Cardinals will return 14 letterwinners and seven starters from last year’s team including two-time NFCA All-Southeast Region selection Taylor Roby and ACC All-Freshman honoree Korbe Otis. Louisville also welcomes six newcomers to the 2022-23 roster.
