Softball to Host Garnet and Gold Scrimmage and Fan Day on Feb. 4

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State softball team will be hosting its annual Garnet and Gold Scrimmage and Fan Day on Saturday, February 4 at JoAnne Graf Field. Gates will open at 12:30 p.m. with first pitch set for 1:45 p.m. Admission is free for the scrimmage

Fans will have the opportunity to get a first look at this year’s squad which returns six out of its top seven hitters and its top pitcher from last year’s ACC Championship team. Beginning at 1:30, fans will be able to talk to members of the softball team in the stands for 15 minutes before the scrimmage.

The Seminoles will host its annual First Pitch Party following the scrimmage. During the First Pitch Party, the team will be available to sign autographs from 4:00-4:45 p.m. in the Champions Club. Tickets to the event can be found here.

The Seminoles will begin their regular season on Feb. 9-11 at the JoAnne Graf Classic at JoAnne Graf Field. The Seminoles will first take the field on Thursday, Feb. 9 against Lipscomb. All reserved seating season tickets have been sold out. Season tickets for the outfield berm and for standing room are available here.
