The No. 8 Arkansas Razorbacks had a very rough outing last night against No. 15 TCU, getting blown out 18-6 in their second game of the College Baseball Showdown.
Today the Diamond Hogs will get a chance to leave Arlington with a winning record as they take on No. 9 Oklahoma State in a rematch of last season’s Stillwater Regional in the NCAA Tournament.
Both teams have had a similar weekend in Globe Life Field. Oklahoma State started off with a 5-3 win over Missouri on Friday, but fell to No. 10 Vanderbilt 11-9 on Saturday. Similarly, Arkansas won on Friday night over Texas, 3-2 but was hammered by No. 15 TCU last night.
This will be the 47th matchup between the two schools all-time, a series which Oklahoma State leads 26-20. But Arkansas has gotten the upper hand of late, eliminating the Cowboys from the NCAA Tournament twice since 2015.
