No. 11 Virginia Tech to open ACC play against Boston College

BLACKSBURG – Competing in one of the conference’s more underrated ACC-opening series, the No. 11 Virginia Tech baseball team (11-2, 0-0 ACC) will truly begin its quest at defending its 2022 ACC Coastal Division championship this weekend when it hosts it kicks off league play with a three-game home series against Boston College (10-1, 0-0 ACC) at English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park (March 10-12).
 
Friday through Sunday’s games between the Hokies and the Eagles will air live on ACC Network Extra with coverage beginning at 2 p.m., 2 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively. Fans may also listen to all three games as called by the voice of Tech baseball, Evan Hughes, on the Virginia Tech Sports Network.

TICKETED ADMISSION

Tickets are required for admission to Virginia Tech’s five ACC home series this season, beginning with this weekend’s series against Boston College. Fans may click here to purchase tickets at all pricing options.

 

Individual tickets are priced at $10 while youth ages 6 to 18 are set at $5 (children ages 5 and under are free). Virginia Tech students receiving tickets through the student lottery portal may also access home games for free.

 

All ticket sales, including walk-up sales on gameday, are cashless and will require a debit or credit card for purchase. Fans are strongly encouraged to download their tickets before arriving at the ballpark to guarantee the quickest entry experience possible.

• Concessions:  Philly cheesesteak eggrolls will be available for sale during all games against Boston College. All concessions sales are cashless.

Saturday:  Game Night theme; early-arriving fans will receive a free Silipint cup while supplies last; entertainment provided by an in-venue host.

Sunday:  Kids are invited to run the bases following the conclusion of Sunday’s series finale, weather permitting.
