GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Notre Dame’s Joley Mitchell has earned the Atlantic Coast Conference Softball Player of the Week and Virginia Tech’s Emma Lemley was named the ACC Pitcher of the Week for the third week in a row.

The ACC softball weekly awards are voted on by a panel from both the schools and the conference office.

The Rose Bud, Arkansas, native hit .636 and finished 3-for-4 with runners in scoring position and 3-for-3 with a runner on third. The senior posted a 1.818 OPS with a perfect fielding percentage as Notre Dame won the series against NC State, 2-1.
