UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State Softball Classic’s schedule for the weekend has changed due to impending weather throughout the weekend.
All games originally scheduled for Friday, March 17 will be played as scheduled. Saturday and Sunday’s schedule will include a slate of Thursday night matchups for the Nittany Lions against UMBC and Cornell. The Nittany Lions will not play on Saturday.
The Nittany Lions Saturday matchup
Penn State was slated to face Binghamton and UMBC on Saturday March 18 at 4:30 and 7 p.m. It will now face UMBC on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Binghamton on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
Instead of facing Binghamton twice on the weekend, the Nittany Lions will see the Bearcats once, and will play Cornell twice, once Thursday night to kick off the tournament, and again on Friday.

Friday, 3/17Cornell– 4:00 p.m. & Canisius- 6:30 p.m.
