The win ends a 15-game homestand for the Vols.
Tennessee ended a scoreless tie with five runs in the second inning. Hunter Ensley hit a two-run home run.
Tennessee extended its advantage when Maui Ahuna hit a three-run home run.
Ahuna drove in one run on an infield single in the fourth inning. Dylan Dreiling hit a two-run home run later in the inning.
The Vols ended its scoring in the sixth inning as Jared Dickey and Griffin Merritt each hit RBI doubles.
Tennessee recorded 11 hits against the Bisons, including five doubles and three home runs.
Aaron Combs (2-0) pitched 1.2 innings of relief to earn the win. He surrendered one hit and one walk, while recording three strikeouts.
Tennessee will open SEC play Friday at Missouri.
