PITTSBURGH – The Pitt baseball team’s series opening game against North Carolina on Friday at Charles Cost Field was suspended in the top of the fifth inning due to deteriorating weather conditions.
The game will resume on Saturday (March 18) at 1 p.m. with the Tar Heels leading the Panthers, 9-7, in the top of the fifth. Game two of the series will get underway 45 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
The series finale is still set for Sunday (March 19) at 1 p.m.
