No. 8 Huskies Drop Game Two Against No. 3 UCLA

LOS ANGELES – No. 8 Washington (22-5, 3-2 Pac-12) dropped the second game of the series, falling to No. 3 UCLA 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at Easton Stadium.
 
UCLA brought across the first runs of the contest on a Jordan Woolery 2 RBI single with no outs. The Bruins tacked on two insurance runs on a pair of home runs in the third for a 4-0 lead.
 
SilentRain Espinoza and Sydney Stewart recorded hits for the Huskies.
 
Kelley Lynch (5-2) got the start, going three innings with four hits allowed and four runs. Brooke Nelson came in relief, tossing the final three frames with one hit allowed, no runs and two strikeouts.
 
The Huskies and Bruins face off for the final game of the series on Sunday with a 12 p.m. first pitch at Easton Stadium. The game will air across Pac-12 Networks.
