Huskies Fall 10-2 At UCLA

LOS ANGELES – No. 8 Washington (22-6, 3-3 Pac-12) fell in the series finale to No. 3 UCLA 10-2 in six innings on Sunday afternoon at Easton Stadium.
 
Maya Brady put the Bruins on top in the first with a one-out solo home run.
 
The Huskies answered back and took the lead in the top of the second with a pair of solo home runs by Kelley Lynch and Sydney Stewart. It was the first home run of the season for both.
 
UCLA tied the game at two in the third off a solo home run from Megan Grant. The Bruins tacked on a run in the fourth and five in the fifth for a 9-2 advantage.
 
The Bruins ended the game on bases loaded single from Kelli Godin for the run-rule 10-2 win for UCLA.
 
Washington returns home to face Arizona in a three-game series, March 24 through March 26 at Husky Softball Stadium. All three games will air across Pac-12 Networks.
