Short Story: The University at Albany baseball team fell to the University of Maryland, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon after a pitching duel between the two schools. The Great Danes were limited to just one hit all afternoon, while the pitching staff limited the Terps to just four runs.
Head Coach Jon Mueller: “We struggled offensively today. Give credit to Maryland and their arms, they were difficult to solve. The defense was outstanding all weekend and all four guys threw well against a very potent lineup.”
