Virginia Tech leads the all-time series 8-3, with Duke’s most recent win coming in 2021. The last time the pair met was in 2021 when the Blue Devils defeated the Hokies, 3-1, to close out a four-game ACC series at Duke Softball Stadium.

Duke picked up its first ACC series loss of the season after falling, 2-1, to No. 6 Florida State last weekend at Duke Softball Stadium.

The Blue Devils fell to the Seminoles, 4-1, in the series-opening game on Friday before bouncing back with a 2-1 win on Saturday. Freshman Aminah Vega blasted a two-run home run over the left field wall to secure the win and tie the series up at 1-1.
