Auburn-Alabama preview with Roll Tide Wire

Auburn baseball scored 21 runs in last weekend’s series with Texas A&M, but could not manage to win the series, dropping two of three games.

The series loss to the Aggies was Auburn’s third in four opportunities, with their lone series win being over Georgia during the weekend of March 23-25 at Plainsman Park.

This weekend, the Tigers turn their attention to Alabama in what will be an important series for both teams.

The Crimson Tide began the season by winning its first 14 games, but have hit a wall in SEC play by playing three ranked teams, as well as usual power in Mississippi State. Alabama is looking for its first SEC weekend series win and hopes to do so against its archrivals.

What can we expect to see out of the Crimson Tide this weekend in Tuscaloosa? We called upon Stacey Blackwood of Roll Tide Wire to help us learn more about this weekend’s opponent.
