TOP STORYLINES

• Georgia Tech baseball completes its two-week ACC road trip when it heads to No. 17 Miami (Fla.) on April 21-23.

• Tuesday saw the Jackets put up 23 runs on 21 hits to dispense Georgia State and get back on the winning track.

• Tech is coming off a tough weekend at Virginia Tech where it battled without any of its weekend starters on the mound from Opening Weekend due to injuries.

• Tech has been snake bitten all year by injuries, not having its intended 1-9 lineup alongside its 1-4 starting pitchers for any games after Opening Day. On the mound specifically, Tech has had three pitchers miss a combined 10 weekend starts over the last seven weekends.

• Where Tech has excelled is at the plate, ranking No. 2 in the ACC in average (.319) with six .300 hitters in the lineup: Kristian Campbell (.444), Jake DeLeo (.384), Angelo Dispigna (.353), Jackson Finley (.328) and Jadyn Jackson (.326).

• Campbell has been red-hot of late and is hitting a team-best .444 overall. In his last 10 games, he’s hit .462 with 18 hits, four doubles and two home runs with a .560 on-base percentage.

• Campbell is the 14th Yellow Jacket to hold a 20-game hitting streak, coming into the weekend with a hit in 21-consecutive games.

• Only three Jackets have accomplished the feat in the last 10 years as Campbell joins Kel Johnson (22 in 2016) and Kyle Wren (20 in 2013).

• The one-two punch of Campbell and DeLeo at the top has been effective this season.

• DeLeo ranks in the top 10 of the ACC in average, doubles (15), hits (61), home runs (12), RBI (38), slugging (.731) and total bases (114).
