Kumar Rocker To Undergo Tommy John Surgery

Mets vindicated it would seem, although I’m not sure it ever officially came out as to what their exact concerns were.

Imagine if this WAS the issue though. Rocker could have gotten TJ’s 2 years ago and would have been pitching by last year sometime. Instead, he wasted a year in the independent league and now sees this season go up in flames.

I’m sure he probably would have gotten a smaller payday, so I can’t blame him for trying to secure the most money he could. But I wonder if he wishes he changed his approach in hindsight.
