COLLEGE PARK, MD – Maryland baseball completes its regular season schedule with a three-game series against Penn State from May 18-20. All three games will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network with live updates are available via @TerpsBaseball on Twitter.

The Matchup

  • Maryland baseball completes its regular season schedule with a three-game series against Penn State from May 18-20. All three games will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network and the Maryland Baseball Network.
  • Maryland meets Penn State for the 35th time overall and fifth three-game series all-time. The Terps took two-of-three games against Penn State in College Park during the 2022 campaign.
  • Penn State (24-22) comes into the weekend after dropping three games to Nebraska in Lincoln. The Nittany Lions have excelled at home this season recording a 14-4 record at Lubrano Park.
  • Junior Kyle Hannon has been a standout for the Nittany Lions batting .288 with seven home runs, 23 RBI and a team-high 26 steals.

Week by Week

  • Maryland continued its historic streak by clinching its 22nd consecutive Big Ten series victory after taking two-of-three games against Minnesota. The Terps dropped the Friday night matchup but clinched the series victory after outscoring the Golden Gophers 29-14 over the weekend’s final two games
  • The Terps claimed two-of-three games against Nebraska in College Park. The series culminated with a 20-5 Sunday victory over the Cornhuskers that clinched the series and saw Nick Lorusso break the single-season RBI record with his 84th RBI of the season.
  • Maryland traveled to Bloomington, Indiana sweeping the Hoosiers in three dominant victories. The Terps outscored Indiana 43 to 12, amassing nine home runs and 50 hits across the three-game series.
  • Maryland, claimed two-of-three against Purdue in College Park. Eddie Hacopian earned Big Ten Player of the Week after leading the team with six hits, two home runs, and five RBI in the series.
  • The Terps won their 18th consecutive conference series dating back to 2021, taking two-of-three over Ohio State in Columbus. Pitching led the way for the Terps…
