COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri softball Head Coach Larissa Anderson announced Wednesday the signing of infielder Adi Koller. Koller heads to Mizzou after graduating from Pleasant Grove High School in Texarkana, Texas, this past May.
Koller earned all-district defensive MVP and all-district offensive MVP honors over her final two seasons with Pleasant Grove. As a sophomore, she was also named to the Texas Sports Writers Association All-State Team and first-team all-district.
As a senior, Koller batted .514 with an .858 slugging percentage and .512 on-base percentage to go with 37 RBI, 44 runs, 14 triples, eight doubles, and three homers. Over her high school career, she did not register a batting average lower than .411.
With Pleasant Grove, Koller helped the team earn consecutive regional semifinal finishes before an area finalist finish during her senior season.
Koller competed for the Excel Elite Burns and Athletics NTX Robinson club teams in Fort Worth. She registered a batting average of .667 with an on-base percentage of .750 over the summer of 2023.
Besides softball, she was also an all-district volleyball and basketball player for the Hawks.
College athletics is in her DNA as Adi Koller has eight relatives who have played at the collegiate level in her father, Derek Koller (Mississippi Gulf Coast and Southern Arkansas Baseball), her brother, Tristen Koller (Texarkana College Baseball), her brother, Hayden Koller (Arkansas Rich Mountain Baseball), her uncle, Rodney Koller (Southern Arkansas Baseball before being drafted by the Cleveland Indians), her aunt, Linzi Wallis (Texarkana College Softball), her cousin, Vaughan Tollett (University of Alabama Football), and her cousin, Alan Tollett (Henderson State Football). Adi Koller’s cousin is Dallas Cowboys Owner/President/General Manager Jerry Jones.
