TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats today announced their full slate of fall baseball games, highlighted by a pair of games at Hi Corbett Field.
For a third straight year, Arizona will begin their challenging fall baseball schedule at the Mexican Baseball Fiesta. The Wildats will square off against Naranjeros de Hermosillo, an international professional baseball team from the Mexican Pacific League. Arizona and Hermosillo will play on opening night of the 2023 Mexican Baseball Fiesta at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium. First pitch is TBA and will follow the conclusion of the previous game, which begins at 5:05 p.m. MST.
Tickets to the 2023 Mexican Baseball Fiesta will be available for purchase soon and can be secured at MexicanBaseballFiesta.com. The Wildcats previously participated in three fiestas; Arizona played Hermosillo in 2018 and 2022 and matched up against Yaquis de Obregon in 2021.
Following their participation in the Mexican Baseball Fiesta the Wildcats will round out their fall schedule with two home exhibition contests at Hi Corbett Field. Arizona will proudly host two of the state’s premier programs with Pima Community College visiting on Saturday, Oct. 14 and Central Arizona College venturing down to Tucson on Saturday, Oct. 21. First pitch on the 14th is slated for 11:00 a.m. MST, while first pitch on the 21st will be 1:00 p.m. MST.
