Fall ball begins Sunday, Oct. 1, when the Lady Vols play host to Tusculum at SPL at 1:30 p.m. ET. On Saturday, Oct. 7, UT will play a doubleheader beginning at noon against Carson-Newman followed by a 5 p.m. first pitch versus Georgia State.

Tennessee returns 18 players from last year’s squad that reached the Women’s College World Series and won the SEC regular season and tournament titles. The returners are highlighted by a pair of NFCA All-Americans in Kiki Milloy and McKenna Gibson as well as All-SEC honorees Karlyn Pickens and Zaida Puni.
UT also welcomes five newcomers – led by transfers Sophia Nugent and Laura Mealer – who look to gain valuable experience this fall leading into the 2024 season.
Weekly – named the 2023 SEC Coach of the Year – enters her 23rd season at the helm of the Lady Vols. She owns a 1,264-425-2 all-time record with 1,041 of those victories coming during her time on Rocky Top.
Under her direction, Tennessee has won four SEC titles, reached the NCAA Tournament in 19 consecutive seasons, hosted regionals 18 straight years and has made eight trips to Oklahoma City for the WCWS.
