Texas A&M brings in another early commit with a raw but talented right-handed pitcher announcing this commitment to the program.
On Monday, Jadyn Furgason committed to the Texas A&M baseball team. Lane Jr. is 6-2, 175 lbs, and is currently a junior at St. John Vianney in Missouri. The Class of 2025 prospect is a pitcher who also plays the outfield.
Shooter Hunt of Prep Baseball Report gave a brief overview of what he saw when watching Furgason pitch a few months ago.
“‘25 Jadyn Furgason (MO) providing an athletic look with a potential 3-pitch mix.
FB: 88-92 SL: 77-78 CH: 78-81 (1500s)
Short/quick arm w/ chance to add. Raw with upside.”

While he still has two years left before he even steps foot on the A&M campus as a college student, early commits like this give coach Jim Schlossnagle and his staff an opportunity to keep an eye on his development. We’ll cheer him on as he finishes his high school career, and we wait to see him throwing heat at Olson Field.
