TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The new week of fall practice for Alabama baseball features a Saturday exhibition with Florida State.
The Crimson Tide and Seminoles are slated for a 12 p.m. CT first pitch at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. Admission to the exhibition is free while fans are encouraged to bring their own food and drink as concession stands will not be open.
Gates will open two hours prior to first pitch. Fans are asked to enter Sewell-Thomas Stadium through: Gates 1-3 located directly behind home plate; Gate 9 in center field; or Gate 12 along the left field line. Once inside, fans are to stay in the lower bowl seating area with access to the upper level premium areas of the stadium strictly prohibited.
Prior to Saturday’s exhibition, the Tide will take part in three practices and a pair of scrimmages during the week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday will each be a 2 p.m. practice at The Joe, while the intrasquads for Tuesday and Thursday are both scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. first pitch.
All scrimmages are subject to change. The length will be determined on a game-to-game basis. Spaced out between scrimmages are the team’s regularly scheduled practice sessions. Dates and times of all practices and scrimmages for the upcoming week can be found on RollTide.com each Monday.
Admission to Alabama baseball’s on-field activity is free to the public. Gates will open each day at approximately 2 p.m. Fans are asked to enter Sewell-Thomas Stadium through the main gate (Gate 3) located directly behind home plate. Once inside, fans are to stay in the lower bowl seating area with access to the upper levels of the stadium strictly prohibited.
