Seven Garner All-ACC Honors – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

CLEMSON, S.C. – Seven Clemson Softball players earned All-ACC honors, as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference on Wednesday. Junior Maddie Moore and redshirt senior Alia Logoleo both earned first team nods, while McKenzie Clark, Alex Brown and Regan Spencer garnered second team honors. Valerie Cagle and Millie Thompson round out the Tigers as third team selections.

ACC RELEASE

Moore picked up her first All-ACC honor as a first team infielder. She finished the regular season with a team-high .438 batting average, .740 slugging percentage and .522 on-base percentage. The Loomis, Calif., native finished the 24-game slate with 32 hits, including five home runs, five doubles and one triple, scored 24 runs and clocked in 20 RBIs. She also leads the Tigers with seven stolen bases in ACC play. Seeing time at both second base and at shortstop, she tallied 34 putouts with 51 assists.

Logoleo joined Moore as a first team infielder. The Nashville, Tenn., native held a .394 average with 28 hits and 23 RBIs. Her .648 slugging percentage trails only Moore on the Tigers’ roster after adding five home runs and three doubles to her resume. The redshirt senior drew nine walks at the plate, scored 15 runs and stole two bases after contributing one sac fly and one sac hit to the Clemson offense. She played both shortstop and third base in conference play and recorded 30 putouts and 49 assists. This is her fourth All-ACC honor – first as a First Team selection.

Clark (Myakka City, Fla.) earned her third All-ACC career nod after making the team in both 2021 and 2022. The centerfielder contributed 41 putouts and one assist defensively, and offensively added 29 hits that included three home runs, three doubles and one triple. The second team honoree maintained a .363 average, scored a team-high 26 runs and finished with 20 RBIs. Her two stolen bases in ACC action secured the Clemson career record for stolen bases with 46 on her career. She finished the regular season second in the ACC in sac flies, fifth in hit by pitch and seventh in runs per game.

Brown’s second team selection is her first All-ACC honor as a Clemson Tiger and second on her career after being a second team selection last season at North Carolina. The Savannah, Ga., native finished with a .373 average after recording 31 hits, including three home runs, three doubles and two triples, for a .566 slugging percentage and .436 on-base percentage.
