2024 DIII softball championship: Selections, bracket, schedule

The 2024 DIII softball championship selection show was on Monday, May 13, streamed live on NCAA.com. Following the announcement of the 62-team field, competition starts with regionals on May 16-18 and continues through finals on May 30- June 5 at Bell Park at Taylor Field in Marshall, TX.

2024 DIII softball championship history

The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) holds the most DIII softball national titles (6) but has not claimed a trophy or appeared in a final since 1996. The reigning champs, Trine will look to win their program’s second-ever national title in this years tournament. Here’s a look at the champions and runnerups over the past two decades.
