A former two-sport athlete who was a wide receiver on the Clemson football team, Taylor decided to play baseball full-time in 2023. In three seasons, Taylor has hit .313 with a .470 on-base percentage in 107 games. He has 13 career home runs, 18 doubles, 18 stolen bases and 69 RBIs. Taylor sustained a wrist injury in the Tigers’ April 14 win over NC State and had to undergo surgery. He hopes to return in time to play in the postseason.
