Social media reacts to Texas A&M’s 14-4 win over Arkansas

Highlights from Texas A&M baseball’s series win over South Carolina

Texas A&M (44-11, 19-11 SEC) finished the regular season on a high note after run-ruling the Arkansas Razorbacks 14-4 on Saturday night. The offense exploded at the plate, hitting .441, including four home runs and seven walks with only six strikeouts on the afternoon.

Lefty Shane Sdao was shaky on the mound during one of his rare starts of the year, allowing four runs and three coming off a Razorbacks home run in the early innings. In relief, Chris Cortez was brilliant on the bump, striking out eight while he and Zane Badmaev prevented Arkansas from scoring for the rest of the game.

Even though the Razorbacks earned the SEC West title after winning Game 2 on Friday night, The Aggies hopefully regained confidence offensively. Pitching coach Max Weiner deserves all the credit in the world for revamping Texas A&M’s pitching, which ended the regular season fifth in the country in ERA at 3.92.

After the game, here’s what social media had to say after the huge Aggie win ahead next week’s SEC Tournament.
