LSU has had a special run this week at the SEC baseball tournament in Hoover.
The Tigers are 4-0, including back-to-back come-from-behind wins over South Carolina, most recently in the semifinals. Now, coach Jay Johnson’s squad advances to the conference championship game, where it will face No. 1 seeded Tennessee after the Volunteers fought their way out of the losers’ bracket earlier this week.
These two teams faced for a three-game set in Knoxville earlier this season, with the Tigers going 0-3 in that series loss. They’ll hope for a better result this time around as they play for a conference title.
