Florida softball earned a white-knuckle 1-0 victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys late Thursday night to move on in the Women’s College World Series winner’s bracket. Next up, the Gators face the top-seeded Texas Longhorns on Saturday as the two teams vie for a national title.
Freshman ace Keagan Rothrock has continued her dominance in the circle helping the Orange and Blue win, which has won 13 of the last 14 games played stretching back into the regular season.
If the Gators can beat the Longhorns on Saturday, they’ll be one win away from the Women’s College World Series Finals. A loss pits Florida against the winner of Oklahoma State and the Stanford Cardinals.
