The NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships begin Wednesday from Eugene, Oregon, home of the Oregon Ducks, one of the best track-and-field programs in the nation.
This year, however, the best track-and-field program in the nation looks to capture another title.
Both the Arkansas men’s track-and-field team and the Arkansas women’s track-and-field team are No. 1 in the country entering this weeks Championships. They have both sent enough participants to Oregon to capture a national championships and have favorites for individual national titles, as well.
Arkansas fans looking for some positivity should give it a watch. After a poor football season, a sub-par basketball season (in both men’s and women’s) and disappointing conclusions to baseball and softball, it’s clear the Razorbacks are best at the sport they are, well, best at it.
The events are easy to watch as Wednesday’s will be on ESPN2. Keep in mind the west-coast start time, meaning a late-night may be in store to catch all the events of the day.
