Every Oklahoma Sooners player chosen in this week’s MLB Draft.

Carter Frederick became Skip Johnson’s 40th MLB Draft selection at Oklahoma when he was chosen in the 20th round (587th overall) by the Kansas City Royals. In his first season as a Sooner in 2024, Frederick played in 13 games and made eight starts before suffering a season-ending hand injury. In his 13 games, he hit two home runs, one double and batted in nine runs, batting .343 with a .543 slugging clip.
