SEATTLE – Washington softball head coach Heather Tarr has announced the additions of Tia Durst, Alycia Flores and Charity Sevaatasi on Thursday.

Durst makes her way to Seattle after a season at Lake Land College. Last season, she posted a .378 batting average with a .477 on base percentage and .791 slugging percentage. Durst ranked 21st in the NJCAA with 18 home runs and 29th with 74 runs scored. She recorded 14 multi-hit games.
This summer, Durst is playing in the Northwoods League, a summer collegiate league, with the Madison Nigh Mares where she holds a .263 average with 14 runs scored, 10 RBI, two doubles and a home run. She was named Player of the Night on July 8 after hitting a three-run home run with a double.
Prior to her collegiate career, Durst set her high school’s career home run record with 24. She was named the Daily Chronicle Softball Player of the Year following her junior and senior seasons. In 2023, Durst posted a .409 average with 10 home runs and 45 RBI.

Flores joins the Huskies after spending the past three seasons at Boise State and a year at Oklahoma. She has one year of eligibility remaining.
At Boise State, Flores was named an NFCA All-Pacific Region honoree in 2022 and twice and All-Mountain West selection. This past season, she started in 45 games while batted .335 with 11 doubles, a triple, six home runs and 39 RBI.
In 2022 as a redshirt sophomore, she ranked sixth in the Mountain West with a .375 average while tallying 51 hits including eight doubles, seven home runs, 34 RBI and scoring 34 runs.
During her time at Oklahoma, Flores made 22 appearances with 18 starts across left field, right field and as the designated player. She slashed .304/.435/.407 with seven runs and six RBI while going 4-for-5 in stolen bases.

Sevaatasi makes her way back to Washington to spend her final year of eligibility. During her time with the Beavers, Sevaaetasi appeared in 105 games, making 78 starts with a career .257 batting average.
As a freshman, she led the team with 10 doubles while ranking fourth with 16 RBI and tied for third with five home runs. Last season, Sevaaetasi started in 15 games and recorded a game-winning three-run home run over San Jose State to close an 8-0…
