Here is an early look at the 2025 Texas A&M baseball team

A&M baseball is poised to have another deep College World Series run

Can you smell it, baseball fans? Fall ball is here, and Texas A&M recently had its first practice since its College Worlds Series appearance. While the team returns a large majority of last year’s record-setting team, it also added several top transfers from the portal.

After coach Jim Schlossnagle left to join his best friend in Texas, everyone’s stomach dropped for a few days as the Texas A&M administration deployed a nationwide search for the next Fighting Texas Aggies baseball coach. When it was all said and done, they didn’t have to look far as assistant coach Mike Earley impressed the brass, and with a large push from the players, he was hired.

Earley hit the ground running with all the core players withdrawing from the portal and picking up some of the top players available. He will get his first chance as the skipper this fall when they host Houston Christian on October 4 at 6 p.m.
