Predicting Texas A&M baseball’s lineup ahead of the 2025 season

The 2025 baseball season at Texas A&M will significantly differ from the past three years. This change follows the departure of former head coach Jim Schlossnagle, who moved on to lead the Texas Longhorns during a rather turbulent transition last summer.

In his place, the Aggies hired former hitting coach Michael Earley, who, among the youngest head coaches in the nation, brings his relationship with the current roster and experience to the role. Earley’s hiring spurred several 2024 stars to return this season this offseason, led by future first-round picks Jace LaViolette and Gavin Grahovic and ace pitcher Ryan Prager.

Just weeks after Earley was announced as the newest head coach, nearly every 2024 starter and contributor, outside outfielder Braden Montgomery, returned to the team, including Caden Sorrell, Hayden Schott, and Kaeden Kent, while former Penn star Wyatt Henseler is talented enough to make an immediate impact.

Kash’s power at the plate is never in doubt, while his contact has improved and looks like another hitting start in the Aggie lineup
