Pitt to Host Penn State at PNC Park in May


PITTSBURGH – It was announced today that Pitt’s game against Penn State on May 13 will be held at PNC Park. This will be the Panthers’ seventh game at PNC Park and third against the Nittany Lions at the venue. 

The game will be televised on the ACC Network with first pitch at 7 PM. 

Tickets for this contest will be released at a later date.

The last time Pitt and Penn State played on the North Shore, the Panthers beat the Nittany Lions 11-3 in 2023. 

Current Panthers Jayden Melendez, Ryan Reed and Anthony LaSala all saw action in that contest. Melendez went 1-3 with two runs scored, Reed quickly retired the two batters he faced and LaSala brough home a run. 

Pitt opens up their 2025 campaign this weekend in Port Charlotte, FL against Eastern Michigan, all games will be streamed on FloSports.
