Vanderbilt Baseball | All-America Honors for Hawks

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt’s Sawyer Hawks was named Third Team All-America, D1Baseball announced Thursday.

Hawks finished the 2025 campaign with a 4-0 record and a 1.60 ERA over 18 appearances. He held opposing hitters to a .167 average and totaled 59 strikeouts to 11 walks. This is his third All-America nod this season, also earning recognition from Perfect Game and the NCBWA.

The senior was named Second Team All-SEC after finishing the regular season with the league’s lowest ERA among pitchers with at least six games played. He ranked sixth in the SEC in saves during the regular season. Five of his six saves came in SEC games.

Hawks was also honored as a finalist for the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award.

• Sawyer Hawks – Second Team All-America (Perfect Game and NCBWA), Third Team All-America (D1Baseball)
• Connor Fennell – Third Team All-America (NCBWA), Second Team All-Region (ABCA)
• Austin Nye – First Team Freshman All-America (Perfect Game), Second Team Freshman All-America (NCBWA)
