Pro Terps Baseball Report (All-Star Break Update)


 With the baseball season on pause for the Mid-Summer Classic, it’s time to recap the Terps performances thus far this year. 

BRANDON LOWE, TAMPA BAY RAYS
After a terrific start to the 2025 season, Brandon Lowe made the second All-Star team of his career. In 84 games in 2025, Lowe has hit for a .272 average while smashing 19 home runs, good for an impressive .811 OPS.

LAMONTE WADE JR., LOS ANGELES ANGELS
LaMonte Wade Jr. played the previous four seasons with the San Francisco Giants before joining the Angels in 2025. On the season, Wade has tallied 31 hits, with 11 of them going for extra bases and 17 RBI.


SEAN BURKE, CHICAGO WHITE SOX
The 2025 Opening Day starter for the White Sox, Sean Burke has pitched well in his first full MLB season. Burke holds a 4.36 ERA over 97.0 innings pitched with 80 strikeouts.


MATT SHAW, CHICAGO CUBS
In his first taste of big league action, Matt Shaw has tallied 41 hits, 11 doubles and two home runs to open the 2025 season. Shaw has also added 21 walks and 11 stolen bases.

NICK DUNN, Philadelphia Phillies
Nick Dunn has spent the first half of the 2025 season playing with three different teams, the Tacoma Rainiers (Mariners AAA Affiliate), the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Phillies AAA Affiliate), and the Reading Fightin Phils (Phillies AA Affiliate). Dunn has recorded 32 hits, 21 runs, 16 RBI and nine extra base hits across the three teams in 2025.

HUNTER PARSONS, NEW YORK METS
Hunter Parsons is in his seventh season in the New York Mets minor league system and holds a 4.01 ERA over 24.2 innings pitched with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in 2025. 

JOSE CUAS, ATLANTA BRAVES

Jose Cuas opened the 2025 season in the Phillies minor league system before joining the Braves AA Affiliate, the Columbus Clingstones. With Columbus, Cuas has pitched to a 3.50 ERA over 18.0 innings pitched with 20 strikeouts.
