Pitt Earns 2024-25 ABCA/Sports Attack Team Academic Excellence Award


PITTSBURGH – The Pitt baseball program was named as a recipient of the 2024-25 ABCA/Sports Attack Team Academic Excellence Award this week.

The award recognizes ABCA member teams from all levels of high school and collegiate baseball that achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2024-25 academic year.

The Panthers maintained a 3.18 cumulative GPA during the 2024-25 academic year. 

Pitt had a program-record 17 student-athletes that were named to the All-ACC Academic Baseball Team this spring. Their 17 representatives topped the previous team-record of 12 from a year ago. Right-handed pitcher Kyle Demi led the team with a 4.0 GPA during the spring semester.
