SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Notre Dame Fighting Irish Women’s Lacrosse Head Coach Christine Halfpenny announced Mckenna Davis as the final addition to her staff for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

“We’re excited to welcome Mckenna to the program,” said Halfpenny. “After a decorated collegiate career, helping to lead Boston College to their first ever ACC Championship and second NCAA Championship, Mckenna is ready to take her talent to the sidelines teaching skill, vision, and strategy to high level student-athletes.”

Davis is a 2025 Boston College alum, where she was an All-ACC standout and three-time All-American attacker for the Eagles. In her four-year Eagle career, Davis recorded 99 goals and 220 assists for 319 career points.

“Coaching and teaching the game has been a part of Mckenna’s lifestyle while competing as a top college player,” added Halfpenny. “She’s been a fixture with Monster Elite club lacrosse while also coaching private lessons, camps, clinics to high school players throughout the summer months. Her competitive drive, high lacrosse IQ, and ability to build strong relationships will be an asset to our Notre Dame team.”

As a junior, Davis helped guide the Eagles to their 2024 National Championship title as she netted two goals and recorded an assist for a total of three points, while also tallying one ground ball and a caused turnover.

In her senior season at Boston College, Davis was second in the nation and the ACC with a personal-high 77 assists, breaking the single-season Eagles record.

“I’m honored to be joining the Notre Dame lacrosse family,” said Davis. “I’m extremely grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to get to South Bend! Go Irish!”
