Men’s Soccer’s Ransford Gyan Named to United Soccer Coaches Players to Watch
Clemson S.C.- Clemson men’s soccer’s Ransford Gyan has been named to United Soccer Coaches Players to Watch list, it was announced by the organization earlier this month.
Gyan was named to the USC Midfielders to Watch List on Tuesday. Gyan, a 2024 ACC Freshman of the Year, Second Team All-ACC and TopDrawerSoccer Freshman of the year returns with 19 starts and two game-winning goals under his belt. The sophomore from Sunyani, Ghana was also named to the ACC’s Preseason Players to Watch List on Wednesday.
Clemson men’s soccer opens the 2025 season at Indiana Thursday, Aug. 21 in Bloomington, Ind. The Tigers then take on the South Carolina Gamecocks at Historic Riggs Field Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 7 p.m. in the season home opener.
