CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Notre Dame women’s and men’s cross country teams are both poised to battle for the ACC Championship in the 2025 season as the two squads were among the top vote recipients in this year’s preseason poll.
The women’s side, which claimed the program’s first ACC Championship in 2024, came in second in the preseason poll with 301 points and six first-place votes. The men’s squad, meanwhile, was tied for fourth in the poll and received a first-place vote.
Both squads open the 2025 season on Friday, August 29 at the Winrow Valparaiso Open. The Irish then host the annual National Catholic Invitational on September 19 and the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational on October 3. The squads will compete on October 17 in their final tune-up weekend ahead of the ACC Championship on October 31. This year’s ACC Championship takes place in Louisville, Kentucky. The Great Lakes Regional is set for November 14 in Evansville, Indiana, and the season concludes at the NCAA Championship in Columbia, Missouri on November 22.
