The Nebraska softball team announced its fall schedule on Tuesday, which consists of a mix of three intrasquad scrimmages and five games against opponents.
All fall softball events are free for fans. Gates will open one hour prior to games against opponents and 30 minutes prior to scrimmages and a clear bag policy will be in effect.
The Huskers, who advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals last season, will open the fall with a doubleheader against Omaha and Colorado State on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Bowlin Stadium. The game against the Mavericks is set for 1:30 p.m. (CT), while first pitch against the Rams is set for 4 p.m. (CT).
NU will face Colorado State again at 11 a.m. (CT) on Sunday, Oct. 12 at home before traveling to Lawrence, Kan., to take on the Jayhawks on Oct. 18. Nebraska will play a doubleheader against Kansas. The first game will start at 1 p.m. (CT).
The Big Red will close the fall with scrimmages on three Wednesdays — Oct. 22, Oct. 29 and Nov. 5. Each scrimmage will start at 5:30 p.m. (CT).
