BOCA RATON, Fla. – The University of Miami cross country team is set to open their season at the FAU Invitational in Boca Raton on Friday evening.
The men’s 5K will begin at 6:15 p.m., while the women’s 5K begins at 6:40 p.m. at the South County Regional Park.

Joining the Hurricanes at the season-opening meet include hosts FAU, Ave Maria, FIU, Florida National, New College of Florida and Nova Southeastern.
The Hurricanes return several runners, including senior Enrique Borrego and Nico Valentine as well as sophomore Prescott Noll.
On the women’s side, returning athletes include junior Maddie Scheier, senior Lexi Arambulo and junior Emma Hencock.
